It seems the X-Men: First Class sequel might end up being an adaptation of “Days of Future Past,” one of the most popular X-Men story arcs of all time. While this could undeniably end up being extremely awesome, it provokes a few immediate thoughts:
1. How in the world are they going to pull this off with none of the important characters from either the original comic book arc or the Animated Series version (probably the better known of the two for modern fans) in the cast of the current film franchise?
2. So, setting up the Magneto/Emma Frost villain group in the previous movie was kind of pointless?
3. If they use the Senator Kelly assassination, and Bruce Davison (X-Men, X2) plays Senator Kelly, it makes the timeline of the X-Men films even more hilarious.
